Technology Committee Charter

The Technology Committee advises the Schlumberger Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer, and senior management on the following company activities:

Research and development: strategy and priorities
The quality and relevance of programs dealing with:
- Scientific research
- Development
- Information and manufacturing technology
- Systems integration
- University relationships

The Committee will also recommend changes as necessary and policies to attract, retain, and encourage growth of technical personnel.

The Committee will generally meet twice a year and may appoint outside technical experts as advisors for access to the most advanced thinking in the international technical community.
