Understanding Complex Reservoirs in Real Time

In the Cygnus Field offshore UK, Drilling & Measurements deployed a combination of technologies for Neptune in a very low resistivity and thinly bedded environment that exhibited very little variation in resistivity. These fit-for-basin Technologies included the:

• PeriScope HD multilayer bed boundary detection service.

The services helped Neptune understand the complexities of the reservoir in real time and place the horizontal well in the most productive intervals to maximize reservoir contact and recovery.
